Netflix has a new Canadian horror-thriller on the horizon. Below follows Josh Hartnett (The Bear, Trap) as a Newfoundland fisherman who, along with Mackenzie Davis (Station Eleven, Terminator: Dark Fate) and Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things) square off against a mysterious sea monster. Also joining them are Natasha Henstridge, Joshua Close and Rohan Campbell.

Not much is yet known about the story, but the series comes from Canadian Jesse McKeown whose previous credits include 19-2 and The Umbrella Academy. The writing team also includes Karen Walton (Orphan Black), Perry Chafe (St. Pierre), and Natty Zavitz (Acquainted), and the directorial team includes the UKs Jamie Childs, alongside Helen Shaver (Station Eleven, The Penguin) and Stephen Dunn (Closet Monster, Queer as Folk).
